Grieving is hard. You know Your children and you know how my heart aches and emotions swell up like crashing waves and then recede and then come again…
And I know You are with me always. But please would you open my eyes and make me especially alert to your tender mercies today? Help me to recognize Your compassions and praise You when I see them. I know they are new every morning. I know You are always faithful. Please give me eyes to see and a heart that feels Your nearness today.
Thank You for this day of life You have blessed me with. Help me to focus on You. Help me, please, to live for You and Your glory. Help me to be sensitive and obedient to the Holy Spirit.
